Introduction to Decision Intelligence (Rules)

Decision processing can be built into actions within workflows, telling the system to trigger processes based on a logical check.

For example, a referral rule check may be added to a page action to check the answers provided in the data submission and identify any answers or set of answers that require additional checks before a quotation is provided.

The logic is created in JavaScript and can reference and create rules for anything related to the data collected within a risk or its connected data (such as clients, pricing, claims, binders, insurers, third-party data and more).

These rules can be made as simple or as complex as the product requires—an action could be based on the answer to one question or take into account multiple data points and scenarios; it's all down to the product requirements.
