Workflow

Introduction to Workflows

A workflow is a series of pages and actions defined for each set of processes to be carried out within the platform. These workflows tie together multiple elements to achieve an output.

  • Questions

  • Pages

  • Actions

As an example, a policy underwriting workflow might consist of several pages tied together into one workflow:

  • Page 1 - Client information

  • Page 2 - Key underwriting questions

  • Page 3 - Claims information

  • Page 4 - Clauses & Subjectivities

  • Page 5 - Premium calculation

Within each of these pages, you place questions and actions to define what can happen at any given stage. Processes such as peer reviews, referrals and many other actions, rules and features can be built into workflows.

Workflows can be created to define any process at any stage in the policy lifecycle. Common examples include:

  • New Business Underwriting & Quote

  • Policy Bind

  • Mid-Term Adjustment

  • Renewal

  • Cancellation

  • Decline

  • Referral
