Referrals

Referrals are used for several reasons in insureflow. Referrals can be used where clients are distributing products online either direct-to-consumer or via a broker portal. The referrals triggered by users of the product may be sent to a back office user for handling. Other reasons for using referrals may be for peer review processes or for Underwriter authority level checking.

Once a referral is triggered, the user, or group of users nominated to handle the referrals will receive an authorisation task to carry out the referral handling. The referral tab shows the current status and the users that carried out the actions for both the initial referral and any referral clearances along with any appropriate notes.
